Balloons are scheduled for mass launches in the late afternoon and as the sun rises, with opportunities for a full balloon ride and tethered rides also available.

“We could all use an uplifting event like this, and we will continue to work to bring a great festival to our community this fall. This event has always been an economic driver for the region and we hope this tradition will continue for many more years to come. at least 30. Hope to see you there!” says Frank M. Castella, Jr., President and CEO of DCRCOC.

“We are pleased to support the Hudson Valley Hot Air Balloon Festival and bring the community together for a special weekend,” said Christopher Shaw, Commercial Banker, JPMorgan Chase Middle Market Banking.

Early risers won’t be disappointed with the mass launches on Saturday and Sunday, and you can bring your blankets and chairs to watch the hot air balloons soar with the sun.

Of course, the event will also include vendors, food trucks, live music, a beer and wine tent, lawn games, souvenirs, helicopter rides and more.

The Chamber is working with the City of Union Vale and incorporating advice from Dutchess County and New York State government to ensure proper protocols are followed, making this a safe event for everyone. .
