Balloon Fiesta officials encourage people to get to the park early, between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., for weekend events, gates open at 4:30 a.m.

How to buy tickets?

General admission to Balloon Fiesta is $15/person for anyone over 12 years old.

How do I know if Balloon Fiesta is cancelled?

Each Balloon Fiesta morning there is a pilot briefing where Balloon Fiesta officials determine if it is safe to fly based on weather conditions and wind speed in the area. If all goes well, they will raise a green flag, giving the pilots the green light to take off.

If things don’t look so good, organizers will raise a red flag, tying up balloons for the day. However, if conditions are good, pilots will still inflate for a static display.

If a session is canceled due to weather, you will need to keep your ticket and it can be used as a voucher for any other session at Balloon Fiesta.
