A hot air balloon ride turned into an absolute nightmare and nearly fatal experience for a group of people who descended from the sky…and held on.
Watch this insane video of a young man, Nicholas McCall, in a balloon with others in Perris, California, where everything seems to be inflating in their basket. It pans and you can see they are over a residential area with some open fields/fields nearby.
Unfortunately, things go wrong. Her caption reads, “My hot air balloon experience was great until the winds picked up.” The clip then cuts to a bizarre scene.
It shows the basket hurtling towards the ground at high speed, how it makes contact and begins to be dragged across the dirt – with what appears to be the guide yelling at everyone to hang on and stay on. interior at all costs.
You can hear moans from the other passengers, and amazingly…this guy was able to keep recording, even capturing different angles of the crash.
Seems like everyone was fine at the end, but it could have easily gone even further south.
