Sweet Satisfaction opens in Sutton after taking on full-time ball and event

A FAMILY OWNED business launched their “boutique” store in Sutton over the weekend after turning a hobby into a full time profession.

After years of experience in finance, Linzi Price-Griffiths began creating great balloons and sideways gifts for family and friends.

Following positive feedback from this and support from her daughter Daisy, the mom of three expanded the project and made “Sweet Satisfaction” a full-time reality.

Covering customers in St Helens and the wider North West, Sweet Satisfaction offers personalized cards, balloons, gifts and decorations for people celebrating birthdays, weddings, christenings or other seasonal events.

After building their home brand, the family renovated a former hair salon to launch their first boutique on Peckers Hill Road, Sutton on Saturday September 10.

Living in Sutton for nearly 20 years, Linzi said she wanted to bring something “a little different” to the community, where customers can browse their portfolio of work before placing an order.

Linzi said: “After doing things for family and friends as a hobby, little by little we got to the point of serving the local community and the entire North West.

“I wanted to create a store with a unique, boutique feel, where customers can relax and take a look at our photo albums and portfolios.

“Me and Daisy do most of the work but the whole family helps out when needed. […] so we also wanted to keep that personal family touch.”

Open Monday through Saturday, the business can accommodate both large events and small gift orders and also support local fundraisers by donating vouchers and paraphernalia.

With a “fabulous” turnout at last week’s launch, the family is also extending its specials program through this weekend.

Linzi added, “We are forever grateful to our customers, old and new, for the support and encouragement that made it possible for us to open this store.

“Without our loyal customers and the trust they have in us, we would not be where we are today.”
